Excuses

Recently, someone said to me "Well, that food storage is fine for people like you. People who have lots of extra money."

It's tax season - we know exactly how much money we earned last year, and let me tell you, not even Revenue Canada thinks we have "lots of extra money". And, truth be told, we never have. We're pretty firmly in the working poor category. Hey, there's a lot of good company there - the working poor are the folks who make your lumber, serve your coffee, clean your mall floors, help you at Canadian Tire, etc.

But it doesn't take a lot of money to notice that pasta is on sale for $1/900g this week, and buy an extra dozen packages.

Anyway, if you don't have food and supplies put away, what's your excuse?

You know you have something to say. And I want to hear it. I really do.

Really. I wouldn't be blogging if I didn't love hearing what my readers have to say!
