You made me look at Lee Valley and now I see so many things I want to buy J
Except the long handled spider catcher, I think I can manage without specialised spider wrangling equipment.Canadian Doomerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16750292879037409647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7665352966222414054.post-2897312403733779862012-09-23T13:12:09.019-04:002012-09-23T13:12:09.019-04:00I have a pair of these dynamo lights (https://www.l...I have a pair of these dynamo lights (https://www.leevalley.com/en/wood/page.aspx?p=66238&cat=1,43456) from lee valley and they work really well. I hadn't charged them up in a while but when we had our storm back in august I snagged one and it was powerful enough to navigate the basement and do a check of all the rooms without being in the dark.

I want to share a lessen I learned. We have a basement room that I built shelves into for some of our stores it is small (8'x8') and has shelves on two sides to the 9' ceiling. The door wall has shelves up each side of the door and above the door. the last side has cabinets a small work bench with a lockable cabinet beside it and then cabinets above to the ceiling. I learned that maybe my original stocking plan of putting food on the shelf walls and flammables (candles, lantern fuel etc) in the cabinet above the counter was less smart than I thought as once the lights went out I had to get out the flashlights to set up the ladder to climb up and get the candles down.Canadian Doomerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16750292879037409647noreply@blogger.com
