These boots are apparently *the* winter/work/wet boot for Mennonite farmers.

Just looking at the boots, we realized he'll pack them in the car on wet or cold days and not wear them while driving. They're rather bulky and heavy.Canadian Doomerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16750292879037409647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7665352966222414054.post-54453756065759618492012-09-16T00:57:18.035-04:002012-09-16T00:57:18.035-04:00I have a set of the baffin ice boots rated to -100...I have a set of the baffin ice boots rated to -100C (James Bay model), they are really nice but they are awkward to drive in as they are just wide enough to make it hard to not push the gas and break at the same time. They are way better than the old pair of winter boots they replaced, those ones where rated to -40 and at -20 my feet went numb. Now I admit i have not tried the baffin ones below -60 (including wind chill) but my forced march experiment last year was done in them and my feet didn't go numb from the cold. You got a good price.

Now is the time to pick that stuff up as once it turns really cold you can't find good boots anywhere.Canadian Doomerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16750292879037409647noreply@blogger.com
