I got spares off the internet.Canadian Doomerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16750292879037409647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7665352966222414054.post-73340914573698866382013-02-17T20:43:45.334-05:002013-02-17T20:43:45.334-05:00The only one I have is the very compact manual Vic...The only one I have is the very compact manual Victorio mill, so I don't know which is better from personal use yet. Based on what you say, though, I'd expect that the Country Living mill (which really looks incredible) is the better value. What good is a great, inexpensive mill that you can't repair? For anyone else reading this, here's the link to it at Briden Solutions in Canada: https://www.bridensolutions.ca/country-living-manual-grain-millCanadian Doomerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16750292879037409647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7665352966222414054.post-90012165918351287402013-02-16T18:30:23.401-05:002013-02-16T18:30:23.401-05:00Ah! (But I don't do meat) All the canning I did with my mom when I was a kid was with jars with the glass lids, and a bail. You just bought the rubber rings. Canadian Doomerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16750292879037409647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7665352966222414054.post-5394090712028752922013-02-06T20:25:18.243-05:002013-02-06T20:25:18.243-05:00I bought a bunch a year ago and have loved them, I...I bought a bunch a year ago and have loved them, I use them for my own canning and disposable lids for jars I plan to give away... after my mother-in-law through a lid away after I told her not too. She didn't want me re-using lid.

As a side thing I'm looking to get a new grain mill. Can anyone recommend either the wondermill junior vs the country living grain mill? Thew wondermill is way cheaper but you can't seem to get spare parts for it anywhere but the country living one they sell spare parts and repair kits for it. Canadian Doomerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16750292879037409647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7665352966222414054.post-4906284984449694752013-02-05T23:02:39.873-05:002013-02-05T23:02:39.873-05:00I just started canning this year and would like to...I just started canning this year and would like to use BPA-free, re-usable lids.
Lavette, I mentioned your blog today on a round-up of my favourites, here:
https://wp.me/p25oSj-K9 If you have time to pass it on, it would be great to hear about some of your favourites.Canadian Doomerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16750292879037409647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7665352966222414054.post-47609485531876208652013-02-05T11:27:46.137-05:002013-02-05T11:27:46.137-05:00great review!! makes me want to cann like my grand...great review!! makes me want to cann like my grandma did when i was little, I will have to look into this. canned jam is awsome.Canadian Doomerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16750292879037409647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7665352966222414054.post-61038269619571746822013-02-04T19:14:43.869-05:002013-02-04T19:14:43.869-05:00Great Review and I will have to pick up a box or t...Great Review and I will have to pick up a box or two myself and give them a try out..Canadian Doomerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16750292879037409647noreply@blogger.com
