I ended up going with the wondermill junior after I found out you can get spare parts it's just that briden solutions doesn't carry them. I got spares off the internet.Canadian Doomerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16750292879037409647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7665352966222414054.post-73340914573698866382013-02-17T20:43:45.334-05:002013-02-17T20:43:45.334-05:00The only one I have is the very compact manual Vic...The only one I have is the very compact manual Victorio mill, so I don't know which is better from personal use yet. Based on what you say, though, I'd expect that the Country Living mill (which really looks incredible) is the better value. What good is a great, inexpensive mill that you can't repair? For anyone else reading this, here's the link to it at Briden Solutions in Canada: https://www.bridensolutions.ca/country-living-manual-grain-millCanadian Doomerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16750292879037409647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7665352966222414054.post-90012165918351287402013-02-16T18:30:23.401-05:002013-02-16T18:30:23.401-05:00Ah! (But I don't do meat) All the canning I did with my mom when I was a kid was with jars with the glass lids, and a bail. You just bought the rubber rings. She didn't want me re-using lid.

As a side thing I'm looking to get a new grain mill. Can anyone recommend either the wondermill junior vs the country living grain mill? Thew wondermill is way cheaper but you can't seem to get spare parts for it anywhere but the country living one they sell spare parts and repair kits for it.
